We may earn a commission when you click some retailer links or make a purchase, at no extra cost to you. How we earn
How we rank today’s offers
Results combine relevance, commerce quality and data confidence. The public OneDailyDrop Score is a secondary signal, not a verdict on the product.
1. Eligibility comes first
A listing must be a real new product for the visitor’s market, have a working commissionable retailer link, a current price, an image, an identified seller and available inventory. Product-review data may be absent only when the seller has a strong, verifiable feedback history.
2. Price quality · up to 30 points
We compare the full landed cost (item price plus delivery) for the same product when reliable identifiers and matching listings are available. A retailer reference-price gap may help, but it is never presented as a verified price drop. When neither signal is available, price quality receives zero points.
3. Product quality and review confidence · up to 35 points
The product’s own rating can earn up to 20 points and the number of product reviews up to 15. The rating is weighted by how many reviews stand behind it: five stars from three buyers counts close to the average of everything we list, while the same rating from three hundred counts as itself. A seller rating is never shown or counted as a product rating.
4. Seller reliability · up to 15 points
We check whether the retailer and seller are identified, whether the listing is available, and whether eBay reports strong seller feedback. Seller evidence supports the offer but does not prove product quality.
5. Relevance and data confidence
For search, relevance to the query, filters, category, budget and stated preferences dominates the order. Missing merchant fields are omitted from commerce-quality normalization and reduce data confidence instead of being treated as zero product quality.
6. Delivery and returns · up to 10 points
A Daily Drop must have known delivery cost and accepted returns. Shipping above 25% of the item price cannot enter the daily selection; unclear delivery terms, final-sale listings and no-return offers are excluded.
7. Public OneDailyDrop Score
Only offers that clear the internal quality and evidence thresholds receive a public score. Qualified live offers are calibrated from 70 to 95. At least five product reviews are required; without them no public score is shown. The ceiling is 89 without a current tracked price drop and 95 with one. Archived selections may retain their original score. The underlying offer quality contributes 75% and evidence coverage contributes 25%.
8. Independence and refreshes
The same ranking logic applies to every merchant after field normalization; there are no merchant exposure quotas and affiliate commission adds no points. Sparse data lowers confidence, while price claims use matching offers or OneDailyDrop’s own history. The retailer checkout page always controls the final price and terms.
